MEET TAMMY FONTANA INDIA
Are you looking for a therapist to help you with your relationship? Are you trying to find somebody who is skilled in relationships, sexuality and offers a flexibility to meet both in person and do intensive retreats? Well, look no further. Meet our lead therapist Tammy Fontana from All in the Family Counselling Centre Pte Ltd.
Tammy Fontana, is an American who is trained in the United States. She is a clinically trained mental health counsellor, as well as a clinically trained sex therapist. She has extensive experience from living and working and practicing in Singapore, working with Southeast Asian and Asian, and in particular Indian population.
She has worked with Indians from India, as well as first and second generation Indians. She is extremely skilled and adapt at the unique belief systems, religious systems and cultural practices that influence and have impact on Indians.
Today, India is a huge leader, diverse country with over a billion people globally developing and having a very mobile and international population. The younger generation is having to deal with belief systems that are traditional in nature, but that may no longer fit their modern life style.
Therefore, a therapist who is aware of these differences and open to all types of thinking and all ways of approaching things can help clients see things in new ways. Ms. Fontana delivers very customized, individuated therapy. Even if she was Indian and you were Indian, that does not mean that you would think or believe.
Therapy is not about giving advice or guidance, but rather helping people to take a step back and look at how they are thinking about things and see it from a new perspective. A therapist does not give people advice or guidance based on their own life, but rather helps clients become aware of their belief systems that may be limiting how they think or approach work, relationships or family and that may be unhealthy regardless of the cultural contacts.
Our therapist is used to working with the diverse population. She has extensive experience in dealing with sexual matters, relationship issues, infidelity, anger issues and other difficult cases, as well as in law and family issues and dynamics.
